"ECRS Software Development Teams are self-organizing/self-managing scrum teams. The team chooses who will join and ultimately who will leave the team. ECRS seeks to hire, and invest in, the best and brightest people who can manage their time, work, and life to make the most of each day. At ECRS "higher ups" are not involved in the day-to-day ins and outs of the Software Development Teams and do not make choices for the scrum teams - this is left to the team to determine. It should also be noted that ECRS has an extremely low developer turnover rate, and we have never had layoffs, in our 33-year history. ECRS has productivity levels in place to guide our technical employees’ careers. Promotions are performance based on standards that must be met for advancement. Therefore, promotions are never guaranteed or structured on a specific timeline and are ultimately decided upon by the Scrum Team Members, and the initiative of the individual.
