Pros

ESOP ownership, great opportunities for growth, education opportunities, the marking opportunities are top notch, decent health care and other benefits, and management seems to genuinely care about their employees and the very top takes time to get to know you and the boots on the ground. Environmental goes out of their way to take care of our technicians.

Cons

We expect the best for our clients although that's not really a con. Hour can be longer for management but that's not atypical of consulting. Working working significantly less hours here than a previous environmental job

Easy going especially during winter.

Cons

Don’t actually make much and you spend a lot of time on call during slow days and most of time during the summer your working 12-14+ hr days making up for winter.

Work environment fairly calm and chill.

Cons

Management gets upset if you absolutely cannot work ludicrous hours at the drop of a hat; have to drive own vehicle to job sites; low pay; VERY poor reimbursement structure for mileage/time spent on the road; lack of training (they show you something once or twice, and expect you to be able to instantly know what you're doing when they send you out by yourself); no pay for holidays off during the first three months you're employed...which sucks if you get hired around November/December, etc.
