Don't bother working at EFI

Pros

They are very flexible. Some departments allow employees to work from home.

Cons

Compensation is terrible. Once you are hired, don't expect to see any raises. Benefits are paltry. They eliminated everything they could except health insurance. Management is clueless. They have no idea how their business us actually being run. People don't talk to eachother. Literally people sitting next to each other won't exchange information. No one is accountable. You can completely suck at your job and it doesn't matter. People are not treated fairly. Highly political corporate culture. Management is quite full of themselves.

great talent, relaxed work environment, good location in Silicon Valley

Cons

Employees should suck up to the boss,hard work is rarely recognized, employees who work are treated like work horses, management keeps saying that it's greatful to have a job in this economy even though the market is picking up and everyone is leaving EFI...unexperienced employees get promoted just because they are good buddies of upper management...

Flexible hours, casual atmosphere, free coffee.

Cons

Unqualified, Directors and Management. Managers who have exhibited good managerial skills were summarily laid-off. Dead end company for professional opportunities and corporate advancement (at least in the North American APPS group).
