Pros
-good vacation benefits. You're given a 200+ hour pool of hours to use as you'd like. You can also carry over 4 weeks Max of vacation. -flexible hours 9/80 or half day Friday schedule -decent benefits -travel is usually only one or two weeks out at a time
Cons
Poor management. Management does not know where your time is allocated or what you're directly supposed to be working on. There is no overall project goals or time allocation for certain tasks. There is no training provided. You will often be provided work on software that you've never seen before and expected to be proficient with it in a week. The company has poor ethics when taking national certification tests. There is no training time set aside for these tests. You are given an answer sheet from previous test takers (acquired unethically). There is little room for advancement. There are some holding higher positions that shouldn't and others that work incredibly hard and have no advancement in site (and have been there for 5+ years). This branch has a very poor perspective on diversity or employees that are minorities. This branch has a poor perspective on "engineers". The vice president of the branch will down talk those with engineering degrees vs. Technical degrees. There is about a 10%-15% turnover rate every year for this branch.
