Cedar Ridge is making changes

Pros

There has been almost a complete turnover in staff in the past two years and new owners coming in last year, Cedar Ridge has a different feel to it. After the expected growing pains, Cedar Ridge has a new energy. There are changes to programming and clinical staff have more freedom to develop and run their own psychoeducational group topics. . Process/ primary groups just increased from three to four days a week. The IT department is really responsive, respectful, and gets me up and running in no time when I run into issues.

Cons

Salaries are right in the middle of pay for this field. Caseload size is about 11-12 patients. Multiple buildings mean going outside to get to some of the group rooms or to get patients from the dorms for individual sessions.

At Meridian Behavioral Health, I have the privilege of working alongside wonderful people who are passionate about helping others seek and start their recovery journey!

Cons

There are challenging days, as with any position or organization, however, they are overcome by the altruistic nature of our purpose as a patient-centered entity and with focus on caring for both patients and staff at all levels.

throughout my career at Meridian Behavioral Health I have felt supported in my work and in furthering my education. With a generous tuition reimbursement program and paid internship opportunities, I have been able to grow within the company as I continue to work towards my goals. I also love the clients we work with and my coworkers, both of which make the job worth it.

Cons

With new leadership, the downsides of Meridian continue to lessen as we work together to make a more positive work and experience, as well as a more positive experience for those we serve.
