Pros

In only four years at Epstein, I have experienced a high level of professional and personal growth, with opportunities to manage a wide variety of projects, both large and small. For those willing to work hard and make the extra effort, Epstein is a great place to gain valuable experience and make lifelong friends.

Cons

Epstein has similar struggles to other firms of its size, the largest being primarily turnover and retention.

We love that you have had such an excellent experience at Epstein! Career growth is an important goal for our staff. We appreciate your advice and will continue to adapt as the workplace changes. There is no better example than our response to the pandemic. Our management has worked with our staff to ensure their safety is first priority while still meeting our client/project needs.

Pros

Have been challenged everyday and have been provided extensive opportunities for growth and advancement. Entrepreneurial spirit allows Epstein to solve client challenges in numerous market sectors, regions and disciplines. The ability to talk to any disciplines (architect, engineer, construction) and dig into a problem, question or curiosity which is stimulating. If a business case can be made for a new service offering envisioned by the employees this is possible and supported. I have seen whole new disciplines created based on the passion of a single employee that was supported and nurtured. Have non-billable BIM strategists who sole purpose is to improve how we deliver BIM solutions and help our employees with the software so they can be architects and engineers and not software support.. Our diversity is our strength.

Cons

Gaining alignment by our diverse professional cultures can create challenges but is also an opportunity. This is an industry challenge.
