Pros

Opportunity for travel and professional experience.

Cons

Some managers (ie: senior partners) treat you like an expendable piece. Others worry more about client and time/budget demands than meeting regulatory requirements or presenting the best product.

Pros

Great team, Ok benefits. Management is so-so.

Cons

This company was great when I first started but started going downhill in past couple of years. They are hell bent on unrealistic metrics and rely on unfair and unnecessary customer surveys. The stress is unbelievable all they care about is profit, they are currently off shoring may departments and leaving loyal employees without a job.

Pros

• Opportunity to work on genuinely interesting and complex roles • Exposure to a variety of industries and projects • Strong, supportive Talent Acquisition team • Collaborative teammates who are willing to help and share knowledge • Positive team culture within TA • Nice Houston office for those who prefer working onsite • Opportunities to contribute to unique projects within the TA team, including process and employer branding work

Cons

• Limited diversity at the senior leadership level, particularly representation of people of color • Inclusion efforts (including ERGs) did not consistently translate into lived experiences • As a person of color, I did not feel consistently valued when interacting with leaders outside of the TA team • No clear or defined career progression path within Talent Acquisition • Compensation is below market for similar roles • Noticeable HR versus TA mentality that created friction rather than partnership • Overall experience can be heavily influenced by alignment with the “right” leaders
