Pros

ERM is a good place to start your career because it has a great list of clients and you gain a lot of exposure to intelectually-challenging projects. The people are great too, with some impressive capabilities.

Cons

It is still a highly corporate, investor-owned organisation which means both salaries and bonuses are improvable relative to other consultancies, as investors need their stake. The company sets itself unrealistic growth targets and this trickles down to employees' performance goals. Lastly, hours can be longer than expected, but as any consulting company meritocracy can apply.
