      Great Employees, Managers Not So Much

      Pros

      The best technical consultants are here. The work environment is very good. You'll learn very fast. Challenging assignments, diversity, innovation.

      Cons

      Managers are driven by money to a fault. Key resources are not respected for their expertise, only their billability and sales. Used to be focused on quality but no so much anymore. I think they may have reached their highest level and be on the decline.

      Pros

      I getto work with great co workers, good benefits, and the flexibility to work from home

      Cons

      I have the job... right? That's what I ask myself after I feel like every day I have to prove my skill set and market myself. I have to pester and beg for billable hours, or else fear job security. And there's little to no support from management; it's a dog-eat-dog business for finding work. No wonder the turnover rate is so poor. Use ERM to start your career, but get out after 1-2 years before they furlough (fire) you.

      Work from home. Salary is ok.

      Cons

      If you are not a partner they don't really care what you think and it takes forever for anything to get better. Lack of processes. People brought in from the outside to improve things that old ERM's don't see and then they are let go or leave within 2 years. Toxic culture if you are not in the right area of the business.
