Pros

Some people are really fantastic, care a lot, and are great mentors.

Cons

Long hours, but manageable in many cases. The bigger trouble is that if you get a project with a bad project manager, it can really impact your life in a negative way. ERM will take all the time and effort you give it, and won’t protect your work life balance or boundaries. Likability is also incredibly important and abused at ERM to get you to do more work. Be cautious and protect your health. Oftentimes, no one else will care or do that for you.

Pros

Colleagues are smart, collaborative, and supportive. Some exposure to Australia’s energy markets and client work.

Cons

Management lack in organisational skills despite competence elsewhere. Limited integration of new tech. Compared to current workplace I can see room for improvement.
