      Pros

      Good opportunities, challenging and stimulating. Good network of people with technical expertise in various fields. Co-workers are great too; people are open to discussion and healthy debate on project issues. Health and Safety matters are recognised and taken seriously.

      Cons

      Fairly little support for training and one does have to be very proactively in sourcing own opportunities. Not a con, but in ERM the onus is really on the individual to shape their own career. Opportunities are available, but the worker has to be proactive and diligent. Recruiting processes can be slow and there is no proper induction to HR systems, benefits packages, IT systems, project software for new hires.

      Pros

      Learning, career growth, excellent management & leadership team, excellent team spirit and well known in the industry.

      Cons

      I had a great experience so far and didnt see much of a "con's but if area if improvement will always be something that we will work together to improve it. Compensation and benefits is always something that every employee in any organisation would think the more is better...

      A diverse group of very qualified professionals

      Pros

      ERM has global reach with offices all over world and a diverse group of environmental professionals. I worked at ERM in Abu Dhabi. Small staff with many projects mostly oil and gas related. Based on my cross-sector environmental experience I was able to choose project I wanted to work on. Good company to work with. Expect significant amount of travel as the Abu Dhabi office serves Middle East regional clients.

      Cons

      Time sheets, utilisation is 80% billable. There is pressure to be billable over 80%. However, that is the case majority of consulting firms.
