Pros
- Several different areas/career paths such as hosting/infrastructure for multiple platforms, software product development, multiple databases, JD Edwards CNC functional, development, operations, project/account management, sales/marketing, etc.
- The company has been expanding for several years with a great customer base that I believe has been able to leverage many ERP Suites services to become more successful
- Good employee benefits/perks for a company of this size
- Many opportunities and tasks to learn/grow. No shortage of work even with additional automation since new opportunities are found
- High percentage of employees that "go above and beyond" to meet the very diverse needs and requirements of our customers
- Large number of employees that help create a family culture. People with positive "can do" attitudes and desire to learn/grow their expertise
Cons
- Growth of company does create some workload challenges at times. My managers have several times asked me to speak up about workload or challenges I encounter.
- Finding people to fill open positions sometimes takes longer than desired, but also some hires were "quick" in the past that in my opinion did not fit our work environment well and became dissatisfied or dismissed
