      Pros

      EverFi works to address issues that are too often shoved under the rug. I use to be a teacher than I had the opportunity to recruit at many of the same universities my students attended. It was upsetting meeting with student after student that was unable to graduate because of finances. I like being part of the solution.

      Cons

      Working remotely can be challenging and feel isolating. When you work in an office it's convenient and organic to chat with people over coffee, lunch, during breaks etc.. working remotely I feel like I need to put time on people's calendar to "catch up" which feels contrived.

      Pros

      Fast-paced, never a dull moment Plenty of work to keep us busy! AMAZING people to work with and for (but really is a pretty flat organization) Doing great work, get to see the fruits of our labor daily! Incentivized to work smarter and harder

      Cons

      More work than we have people! As with about any start-up things change regularly (which can also be a pro if you love change!) Sometimes it feels like everything you need needs to be created because it hasn't been done before! Lots of trail blazing!

      Pros

      Fantastic culture and an excellent mission. Everfi is a really good company to work for and the future of the company is very exciting. As an employee you feel challenged and are rewarded for good/hard work. The leaders in the company are smart and energetic, with a mission to make a difference.

      Cons

      The biggest downside of the company is that many of the schools managers work remotely. EverFi works hard to make the remote staff still feel connected, but there is certainly a big focus on the DC office. To help the remote staff feel connected Everfi organizes some fantastic retreats, which really helps with team building.
