It's Quiet... Too Quiet

Pros

Pay is above grade. Hours are typically 9-5 but you can find yourself staying there longer during busy times. Some fun events. The below cons actually sucks to write out because I don't want to affect the few people I met here I actually care about, but something needs to be said or else Intouch will fail.

Cons

Here we go: * Aggressive and hostile work environment. I got screamed at here. You will get yelled at in front of people: at your desk, over the phone, in meetings, doesn't matter where you will be grilled at some point in time. * Hard work isn't appreciated - some of my coworkers very obviously weren't doing their jobs, but surprisingly got away with it for months due to popularity. * This isn't a place to learn - in fact you'll be trying to shake a lot of the bs you had to deal with at your time here. * Culture - Terrible. People here are extremely mean to each other. If this all sounds good to you, welcome to Intouch.

Avoid this place, if you can

Pros

The location was convenient for me. And, the access to a variety of free beverages during the day was a nice perk.

Cons

I've worked at numerous agencies, so can confidently say that this place should be avoided. The agency is very cliquey and not welcoming (at all) to newcomers. They have a hard time seeing what newcomers can bring to the agency - a fresh perspective, different skill sets, etc. While they may be considered a "big" agency in KC, they have a long way to go before they are on par with agencies in other cities. To make the experience harder, HR is not useful in any issues that come up and senior leadership is just an absolute joke for so many reasons.

Pros

The people are fun and friendly. That’s literally it.

Cons

There is no work life balance. Management doesn’t know what they’re doing. The executive team spend thousands of dollars in travel for no reason. The culture has died down and the NY office have people leaving left and right. Pay isn’t competitive in the industry, and expect to get a PC laptop unless you’re in creative. They say treat the CEO the same as you do for interns... that’s not true. This company is growing but its growing too fast without the resources it needs. It’s a lot of talking and not doing from leadership and everyone is overworked. Overall, don’t work here. You’ll regret entering this place and theres a better place somewhere else.
