Pros

Salaries are similar or little above the industry average, it's not a very demanding workplace other than certain high peak times. If you can adjust to the company's inner workings quickly, it's an easy environment that doesn't require too much talent or hard work. Good benefits & work/life balance. It's a good place to build some experience and move on to something better.

Cons

Lost it's culture and dedication as company grew, adding layers everywhere that reduced the productivity dramatically. Added more processes to prevent this but only created ambiguous policies with inconsistent applications. Inflated egos, office politics and administrative incompetence are biggest obstacles to productivity, not the process. How much and how loud you talk are more important than what you are talking about. Management is disconnected from employees and what they think.

We appreciate your comments and understand Intouch Solutions is not right for everybody. However, we’d like to share that in the past six months our leadership team worked to develop a concise vision for our future direction, as well as opportunities to grow in 2015. We are actively working to share this vision with employees at all levels. We continue to grow, and our business is very healthy. Additionally, the move to our new corporate headquarters allows all of our talented Kansas City-area employees to work in one space, enhancing collaboration, efficiency and communication.

Was once great, now on the verge of collapse

Pros

- There are some truly amazing people here who are great to work with. - Most employees are competent at their jobs. - Pay and benefits are goods for an agency. - Truly an inclusive environment where you can be yourself. - Processes are well-defined and usually help get work done. - Leaders at all levels care about the work, even if they're forced to make some hard decisions due to budget and business.

Cons

- The acquisition by a venture capital group has led the company into a downward spiral of budget cuts and a toxic culture. - Major layoffs happen twice a year. - Billing is the only metric they care about. If they don't have work for you, even for a short time, get your resume in shape. - The people who get ahead are no longer the best performers. Now, people yell and blame everyone so they can look like they're on top of things. People who throw others under the bus get multiple promotions, while genuine problem solvers are blamed and let go. It's a shame because the company used to be a place where people looked out for each other. - To survive in a changing market, the company will vastly oversell capabilities and sell products that don't exist or projects that are impossible to deliver, often outright lying to clients. Sometimes, we can deliver the impossible, but sometimes, it truly is impossible. 60-70 hour weeks are possible—while you're being reprimanded and berated for a promise someone else made.

Really disappointed to hear this, and would welcome the opportunity for you to sit down with any member of the leadership team to work together to make your experience better.

Pros

Fully remote I guess?? But nothing

Cons

Long hours for nothing (they think like a grubhub gift card is suitable compensation for overtime). Poor management who do not give a crap about you and lie to your face. Half the brands are a disaster and if your put on them forget it - they'll expect you to put out the dumpster fire overnight and reprimand you if you don't. Benefits are expensive and useless. Some of my best and most admired colleagues have left this place in the last few months, high employee turnover because management expects you to work long hours for nothing (colleague admitted they pulled an all-nighter trying to get this done and did not want to pull a second all-nighter this week and management literally said "well if thats what it takes to get it done, you have to do it." They literally do not care if you're pulling MULTIPLE ALL NIGHTERS to get the job done). Be prepared to be suddenly fired for poor performance even if you do literally everything they ask. I ended up in therapy because of my experience here, I genuinely have workplace PTSD and severe anxiety at my new job. I would not wish a career here on my worst enemy.
