Excellent ambiance. HR team is very cooperative.EXL has implemented digital on-boarding for new employees.Which is remarkable.EXL e-learning platform has great content for employee development.

Pros

Some teams really do great work in terms of quality/cutting edge Payscale is not in the bottom, has been better than Axtria, MuSigma etc at entry level Amazing Sales leaders, the sales/BD team is actually pretty good. The win accounts and also used to give results ( some verticals like banking and Health still do and are unbeatable within services industry) If you're an IIT-IIM: Join, you are the fav child

This is function specific but 80% of all this is true throughout the firm barring a handful of exceptions Low on morality, there have been a large number of incidences in the organization where people have promoted their reportees out of personal reasons and also held promotion for personal reasons, a few such incidents are a Manager promoting his/her junior and then marrying him/her, managers threatening to have their love interests promoted or they will hold promotions for performing team members People resign multiple times a year to get fast track promotion, the behaviour is promoted as employees are actually told " Paper daal de, toh main hike de dunga". This behaviour is not limited to Analysts its exhibited by SAVP, AVP, VP and SVP time and again People are expected to leave in a few years and thats the business model the firm also follows Harassment is invisible but present abundantly, be it leering men staring at female employees, harrassment cases, low level politics ( threatning to put on to pip just coz you will not say "I dont think that is a good idea" or "No I will not promote him/her coz you like him/her personally") If you're NOT an IIT-IIM: Don't Join, you are NOT the fav child

For Learning, it is a good company.

Cons

Individual wealth management is very poor. Not employee-centric but only client-centric.

Thank you for your feedback. As a company, our most important asset is our people. Our HR practices include reviewing our compensation structures periodically and aligning our hiring and performance increases to relevant market data. We also do bench-marking on a regular basis that show we are quite aligned and for those areas where we are not, we formulate a long-term plan for the same.
