On some teams you are worked like a dog, especially the USAA team.
The motto on some teams is Quantity over Quality- so we are encouraged to pump out lots of work at low quality for it to bite us in the butts later
The CEO is a purely numbers guy and is anti-social. He only cares about the numbers. Don't bother trying to recommend changing strategies because it would create better quality work in the future.
Employees are kept in the dark.
Absolutely no developmental trainings
Team meetings are jokes
USAA team is the worst to work on: constantly on the phone with military members upset about their claims, you have to document each call, you are "in-call" all day and have to still do outstanding work. It is like a call center where you are up against the clock to make calls, take calls, send demands, all the while sounding chipper. Most people on the team quit. At least 4 people quit in two quarters (all recent college grads or out of school for 1-2 years).
This is definitely a 1-2 year gig if you just need experience to go onto another job. I wouldn't recommend anyone work here if they are actually looking to grow.
Many people have a cynical, I just come to work to work attitude.
