Pros

Compensation was competitive and training was available.

Cons

Must be linked to a partner for account leads and access. Only way to grow in rank was through a partner/mentor. Without that relationship your sunk.

Pros

EY is a wonderful organization, offering enormous growth potential and ability to move across practices or geographies. I have worked with teams both US based and international, and I have found here some of the smartest and brightest people I've ever known. Compensation at the higher-levels (senior manager and above) is at par with market and very competitive. Great exposure to top companies/clients in New York. Great culture and lots of internal organizations to join. Good vacation/ time off policy.

Cons

Not much work-life balance as you move up the ladder. Little predictability in terms of own schedule: it is a client-driven business, so you work on the client's schedule.
