Pros

-Great Reputation and brand name -Great learning opportunities and internal training -Strong people culture among non-management employees -Strong intellectual property -Firm resources are extensive in terms of legal help (eg immigration law for non-US citizen employees) -HR and core business support functions are good.

Cons

-Staff and seniors will NOT get on to the projects that they would like and will have the opportunity to grow in. Instead they will get on to projects where partners could bill the client for mundane work. -Projects have recently been more along the lines of loan staff/temp labor support rather than consulting work -Pay is not competitive -Antiquated technology (Lotus Notes) -Partners are very disconnected from the needs of staff/seniors

Pros

May be just the brand name and nothing much of a benefit other than working for this firm

Cons

You will not be deployed on projects you were hired for You will not develop any expertise in any specific space The whole advisory is a joke and I dont see this going anywhere They care less about the people, infact they hardly care about people Staffing is the wierdest and funniest process of all I would strongly suggest for college grads who are looking to start their career in consulting please stay away from EY advisory Oh wait, compensation and salary raise is 1/100000th of what other comparative firms offer

Pros

Really bright people all over the world and collaborate really well together. Good vacation and average benefits. Good company to gain experience for 3-5 years then run fast.

Cons

Lots of in-fighting and can be cut throat as the director level and partner levels. If you are female, gay, non-white and have any disorder you are coveted at this company. If you are a hard working white male you might as well not apply. Only clients facing positions get bonus so non-accounting employees are treated differently and get zero bonus.
