Pros

The best thing about working at EAS was your fellow RBTs/BTs who were always ready to support you even if they have a bad day. They would always offer support

Cons

The compensation is awful. The work load is too much. There is no proper communication in the centre. Nobody knows about what's going on. There is no value for the time and effort of the BTs. Poor handling of cancellations. Clients don't value the BTs time. Whenever it was brought up or discussed there was no proper action. No HR present at the centre. It's an 8HR job you're lucky if you get a break inbetween.

Pros

-room for professional development -fortnightly team meetings (paid) which allow for greater understanding and skill building -meaningful and rewarding work. Truly work that you look forward to!

Cons

-Not a real con, but due to the nature of working in a multidisciplinary team (BCBAs, other behavior therapists, client's parents), you sometimes have to answer quite a few emails after work. This is because it can be tricky to organise dates for the team meetings.
