Pros

RBTs are genuinely some of the nicest, most caring people you will ever meet. Have made amazing friends while working here. Ethical ABA. Most of the BCBAs are super knowledgeable and genuinely want what's best for clients.

Cons

Poor compensation, inconsistent schedules, very poor benefits, PTO is accruable but is unrealistic for a lot of techs to earn. Every criticism or concern is taken personally by management which makes the work environment toxic and passive aggressive when concerns are brought up. Staff have often been accused of gossiping while management and supervisors spend a lot of time whispering behind closed doors. Severe lack of professionalism. Poor management of COVID-19.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Above all, we value the health and safety of all of our EAS employees and realize that Covid has impacted this branch negatively, as it has in much of the US. EAS follows all CDC guidelines, which change frequently, as more medical research is reviewed by the CDC professionals. The CDC guidelines include waiting times for resumption of services after exposure and we follow those to protect our employees and clients. We recognize that many of our families needed to cancel sessions for safety reasons. We are examining the impact of weather/health related cancellations and are working on possible solutions. Employees should feel free to bring concerns to the Human Resources Director where confidential conversations can occur before employees consider leaving the company. HR is an unbiased third party and can investigate employee concerns promptly. HR may also be able to provide information to help put some concerns into perspective and can advocate for employees.

Pros

Some great local team clinicians and people

Cons

A new CEO was hired last year and he has made this company a terrible place to work. He talks bad about people behind their backs and blames everyone else for his poor decisions and treatment of people. The company now has very little/no training for new hires. Turnover is high and there is no concern about staff burnout and work/life balance. They have really high caseload expectations now for BCBAs. Heads up to ensure you know about hours under supervision as their caseload numbers don't sound too bad but once they factor in their hours under supervision the workload is super high. The CCO, COO, all original regional directors, lots of BCBAs, and all but 1 clinical director across the company quit after this new CEO started.

Pros

You get to work with some amazing kids. Home based therapy is great.

Cons

The clinic is cliquey, scheduling is a complete joke, management plays favorites, just a completely toxic work environment. Don't work in the clinic if you care about your own mental health.
