Pros

I loved the environment and how laid back it was. They didnt discriminate against tattoos. I loved my DM and store manager. I started out in September of 2012 as a sales associate by the end of October 2012 I was a key holder by December 2012 I became the first assistant by February 2014 I was a stand in store manager because our current manager put in their notice. Unfortunately because we got a notice that we were shutting down in June of 2014 they didn't give me the store manager title. But I closed that store down. If I had the opportunity I would go back to Earthbound in a heartbeat.

Cons

Absolutely nothing except i.wish we hadnt shut down .ooo and the stereotyping that we would get from customers. I actually had a customer not allow their children to come in with her because she said she was just getting sage to ward off evil spirits and didn't want her children to be in our store.

Pros

Fun Products that are easy to sell. Thought it was amazing at first and was super excited. Is a fun filled environment most of the time

Cons

Lack of communication. DM won't take disciplinary action on ASM even though they have violated company policy. Awful awful place to work. Doesn't believe in chain of command. Pos systems mess up nonstop. Cheats you out of holiday pay. DM violates federal labor law Store managers have sales goal without consideration of administrative duties. High turnover

Pros

Earthbound's management puts a lot of emphasis on providing great customer service. I enjoyed this policy because it encouraged me to interact more with the customers, making the time go by quickly. My sales ability and other soft skills improved dramatically during my time at Earthbound.

Cons

The location I worked at was facing a staffing shortage at the time. This forced many of us to work more hours than we had originally agreed to work.
