      I liked the people I worked with. I was just a student worker so payment was alright. Room to progress.

      It is a state funded university so there is some politics.

      Pros

      70% discount off of tuition, free entry for you and a plus-one into sporting events, great retirement, and health care benefits, job security if you are part of the union, lots of resources and opportunities for professional and personal growth if the employee seeks it out, classified has pay steps each year for 10 years.

      Cons

      Lower pay, nepotism, HR is not consistent, remote or hybrid schedules not encouraged, poor employee retention, lack of flexibility offered depending on the supervisor.
