Pros

Great entry level ABA position if one is questioning whether or not to join the ASD/ABA field. Schedule is based upon your availability. Working with families and children while helping to make a positive impact on their life!

Cons

Extremely unreliable hours. Between cancellations and case availability, hours a week can range from 10 to 25. High company turnover. Pay is not enough considering the job duties, which include working with violent/aggressive clients.

Pros

Easterseals now offers 4 medical option: Kaiser HMO, UHC HDHP with company HSA, UHC HMO and UHC PPO Dental HMO and PPO through Metlife Vision through VSP Company paid Life, AD&D and LTD for Full Time associates 401(K) with company match. Match is 1.5 % of gross pay and kicks in upon entering the 401(K) plan. Easterseals pays 90% of the benefit cost for the lowest price plan which is the UHC HDHP plan ( individual only coverage) The cost sharing increases for associates when they add their dependents.

Cons

401(K) vendor is through ADP which isn't known to be a 401(K) vendor. Current compensation program - Associates are paid a lump sum on their anniversary date. The downside to this is the 401(K) match will remain the same for exempt associates because it is based on gross pay. And the life/add insurance is based on 2 times annual salary so that will also remain the same.

Pros

Benevolent organization that shows compassion for the individuals and community they service; yearly bonuses, nice and helpful co-workers, great company (leftover) lunches and food to enjoy. Great potential for growth in the years to come, especially in the IT Department.

Cons

Limited medical insurance options; very expensive PPO option. IT Dept only - constant and confusing policy changes, not enough staff hired to meet increasing workload/demand, short lunch breaks 30 minutes (most staff skipped lunches or ate at desk), minimal formal training provided for staff to improve skills and understand new technologies implemented (learn as you go).
