Pros

This company offers a lot of benefits including research opportunities, trainings, mentorship, and CEUs. Some employees have the option of working from home, which is a huge benefit and saves on overhead costs. The benefits provided for medical insurance, referral programs, retirement, vacation, medical savings account options and more are very good. They support the employees health and well being and emphasize a work/life balance, which is a major benefit for me. They are considerate of your preferences with regard for tasks and teamwork is emphasized. The team that I work with is amazing and supportive, everyone is passionate about the work they do and it shows. I would absolutely recommend working for this company.

Cons

The cons for the company are the same types of issues observed in other ABA companies. Some systems and processes could use improvement. There seems to be a lack of communication, as lots of changes occur which affect all employees but they are not shared with everyone. There also seems to be a problem with employee retention and focusing on keeping employees, rather than hiring new ones. The pay is a little bit under the standard; however, the benefits of working here outweigh that.

Pros

-Paid 2 week training -Paid CPR certification, TB test, and Safety Care Training -Rewarding experience working with children and their families -Exposure to ABA, PECS, DTT, and other methods used -Provided iPad and company phone for work -Educational reimbursement -Partnered with National University for discounted tuition -Employee Discount Program via PerkSpot -Possible RBT opportunities -Bonuses offered -401K offered to part-time staff (no health insurance)

Cons

-Unstable work hours (min 4hr- 20hr max) for part-time -Mileage is not reimbursed for huge gaps in between clients or to your first session -Client cancellations are not paid for unless they cancel about 30mins prior to start of session (you basically already driving out there majority of the time) -Some sessions are so spread out via time/miles (45mins; 25miles) -No career advancement without Master's Degree -Makeups/Sub-sessions are hard to come by since some families stay strictly with their own clinical team -Clinical Supervisors always miss out on Clinical Team Meetings -Program Managers don't support on cases as much as they should -Constant staff changes on your cases (BIs/PMs quitting, PM/CS relocating, or staff getting removed due to family) -Slow email responses from Clinical Supervisors(CS)/Program Managers (2 days- 1 week wait) when issues arise -No support/overlapping supervision from Managers on cases where children have aggressive behaviors (hitting self/others, bitting, scratching, head banging, etc.) -Scheduling needs major work; terrible following up with family -"Mandatory" monthly team meetings where CSs/PMs waste your time by not really going over the material provided to them and just winging it (a lot of social cliques in these meetings where they intimidate you) -Huge turnover in the Autism Department for BIs

I would never work here again.

Pros

Some of the women were nice, and sometimes I could put my lunch in a fridge.

Cons

The staff was treated very poorly by management. If you have a list of preferred qualifications, you should not be making minimum wage. There was absolutely no room to grow with this company. After working here for a year and doing an amazing job, I spoke with my site director about many issues I was having and about the site in general, I was told to leave if I didn't like the drama. So I did. I would not work here if you are looking for a job that will treat you fairly.
