Pros

Work environment with peers great; Compensation package fits the market average;

Cons

Millenials causing severe damages, leading to disruption in the teams. No real growth for those willing to take the lead of their career growth.

Pros

Great place to start employment because they invest in training (up until recent years) but not a good place to grow a career as a young professional

Cons

Eastman has begun to slash and burn benefit packages to make investors happy. Employee morale is at an all-time low. New ranking system (the kind Exxon or Mobil has abandoned) is ranking the bottom 5% as Does Not Meet Expectations, 15% Partially Meets Expectations. This has financial impact as well as stigma. After two layoffs in 2016, the company still believes, or is promoting the fact that 20% of it's work force is below average. Financially the starting pay at Eastman is very competitive with it's peers, but the stagnation happens quickly. If you had taken a job making 15-20K less out of college, you would be reaping the benefits now. Your peers will surpass you with much more upward mobility.
