      Challenging, interesting opportunities; good benefits; headquartered in a great community; provides job stability; very good people to work with; global sites

      Cons

      Benefits have changed to be not as favorable to the employee as in the past, but that is due to the changes in US business and the economy. It is still ahead of other companies on the benefits provided.

      Pros

      For the first time in my 25 year career in industry, as a new hire to Eastman I was encouraged to balance my work life and home life. Never before has a company expressed concern for my long term welfare of a balanced life. I've worked several places during my career, and Eastman is head and shoulders above in compensation, recognition, support, training, and encouragement to do the right thing. It is a blessing to be a part of the Eastman Team!

      Cons

      Eastman is a big site, and sometimes it takes a little longer to champion a change or a project than it might at smaller facilities.

      The company offers great pay, competitive benefits and is always making sure they are comparable to their peers in those respects. Management allows for team members to be innovative and encourages everyone to express their views. The job is a challenge and is always pushing you to become a better employee.

      The decision making process can take a little longer than at other companies.
