Our values are the most sacred piece of corporate governance we have. It is extremely important to our company, its management, and employees that we enforce our values at all times. As a result, we are sorry you do not feel your concerns were addressed to your satisfaction. As you know, the department was formalized just 2 months ago as a distinct group outside of our in-house legal department to focus on employee engagement, among others. Part of our charge is to create best practices and deliver management training on how to deal with various workplace situations and to ensure we hold employees of all levels accountable not only for performance, but accountable to our values. While we cannot share the details of the specific situation you are referring to, rest assured, all witnesses were interviewed. There are several statements you mention that simply are not true based on the investigation and facts that the witnesses shared. Specifically, while there was a verbal disagreement between two employees offsite, there was no physical altercation whatsoever. We investigated and responded quickly and we believe the situation has been handled legally and appropriately. Additionally, we are implementing workplace training so that employees understand management’s commitment to providing people with opportunity and enrichment in a respectful, productive and fun work environment. We wish you could have stayed to see these results but as always, we do appreciate your feedback.
