Not a good place for growth

Pros

Nice staff, welcoming. Newer tech, employees have access to nice new phones. New system in place.

Cons

Wage, many people are making below market rate. Lots of obvious layoffs and many people leaving, "cleaning house" to say the least, causing a lot of anxiety among staff. No HR. For a company that is trying to be a billion dollar company, how could you not have a proper HR department in place. Expectation is to make work your entire world, which is not realistic and not competitive in today's market. Metrics driven, becoming very eerily similar to Robert Half/Kelly/Kforce. No real training for the staff, everyone doing their own thing and expected to know things that were never taught. Managers picking sides and not being objective when it comes to their staff. No fun events or team building going on and no investments made in teams. Promotions are scarce. A lot of unhappy people wandering around.

Eastridge Workforce Solutions Response

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. You have provided very useful comments. As I have mentioned in previous responses, the change from a traditional staffing agency to a top 100 Workforce Solutions provider has been a lot of work. Additionally, it has not been for everybody. When turnover occurs, our Corporate Legal Department works hard with management to ensure that if there are performance issues, they are communicated with employees. Our intention is to help everyone be successful while striving to be a best place to work. To enhance our ability to retain and develop staff, we are in the process of hiring an HR lead to oversee performance management and training. Hang in there - we have seen rapid growth and are working hard to add resources for the team. Again, I truly appreciate your comments and welcome further conversations. Please feel free to contact me, I would enjoy talking to you more about this.

Pros

Culture. Teamwork. Growth. Development. Communication. Professionalism. Success. These things are among the most important things at Eastridge and it is evident every day and in everything the company does. The company is big enough that there is lots of potential for growth but small enough that there is a personal feel to everything they do. I had a lot of options for where I could work and Eastridge really provided the most fulfilling, winning, and intimate vibe and culture.

Cons

Unless you don't like sunshine, there are no cons.

Pros

I came to Eastridge after working in HR in a different industry. Initially, when the corporate recruiter reached out to me I was extremely hesitant about the "temp agency." However, after meeting with upper management and the more and more I learned about the company the more I loved it. There is plenty of room for growth. I've read many reviews that people feel that there isn't enough training. While there is no formal training plan, if you ask a questions, you will be put in touch with the right person who can help you. Communication is key. If you sit in your corner with your head down, you won't succeed. If you put yourself out there and ask questions, the sky is the limit.

Cons

It seems like there are a handful of employees who have been with the company for quite some time who struggle to keep up with the changing technology demands. It isn't advanced items either: creating a document, dialing into a conference call, forwarding an email just to name a few. It can be extremely wearing on the rest of the team when they have to pick up the slack or go back and fix simple issues for someone who should be able to do it on their own.
