      Pros

      No constant over bearing, good co-workers, friendly residents, day to day tasks not complicated , floor managers have an open door policy, tuition reimbursement, benefits, flexible scheduling with school, career advancement

      Cons

      I could say we are short staff, but that's everywhere.. The facility is old, the facility doesn't have a trash chute so some areas are smelly, shift supervisors don't know how to communicate with staff, parking sucks at times, I would say co-workers don't feel safe at times (but we are in the heart of the city, stay vigilant)

      -The residents are usually pretty sweet and nice. -Management tries to make an effort. Tries. -I usually like my co-workers.

      Cons

      -Like the title says: We are understaffed, and listening to my co-workers talk, the pay is average or on the low side for the industry. There are other places that pay more, and other places that pay way less to do basically a certified nursing assistant job. -If you want food, you have to buy it. -Depending on what side you are assigned, you can get pretty busy. I've been assigned look after 10 residents in memory care before.

      -Staff and leadership really cares about the residents -Daily stand up meeting in the morning with all leadership -Excellent health insurance that is affordable -Faith based and been around for many years so well established

      Cons

      I wish you did not have to work in a position for 6 full months before being able to transfer
