Extraordinary company for innovators

Pros

Eccalon is a great company for innovators. I like the organic structure with the high degrees of freedom. While enjoying interdisciplinary collaboration in agile work environments, I find myself doing something meaningful, if not making the world a better place. The leadership team works really hard to build and operate better innovation programs and intrapreneurial culture here at Eccalon. Some information I read doesn't seem to reflect the truth. Salaries actually increase regularly – I guess once a year at least. Benefits include a really nice health insurance and matching 401k. I know the leadership precisely measures employees’ performance. So, high performers have a better chance to get more than others.

Cons

The leadership of the company continuously demands innovation and excellence at the same time. Working for Eccalon without strong self-leadership or commitment can be challenging. As someone said, this company is not for everyone.

DOD experience in government contracts.

Cons

Incompetent management, clueless about how to motivate or manage a team environment. They try to operate on a who you know and clickish environment. You can't get work done due to the clicks being allowed to gossip in the corridors. Low morale, and authoritative management.
