For a machine learning engineer, Eccalon is a wonderful place to be. You are constantly working on projects that require you to research the state of the art and implement it. It is invaluable experience if you want both deep research and engineering experience in ML. You are a part of the entire ML process which enables you to achieve your goals, unlike other places that may shoehorn you into a specific niche and force arbitrary constraints upon you. It is a 2 edges sword.. Responsibility means control, but at the same time, responsibility means.. responsibility. I like it! The head of ML and Software is a smart and thoughtful man with a lot of deep tech expertise. The CEO is a sweet and intelligent man. All the management I've interacted with seemed fine so I am a little bit confused about other reviewers. I've been treated with respect and kindness during my time here. I cannot say that about everywhere else I've worked.. haha. My 2 cents.
