Pros

I've been with the company for about a year - what a great fit. I am supported when I need to be, yet have the ability to be as independent as I want to be. Ecumen provides continual education opportunities, excellent benefits, and a support/networking group at my own disposal.

Cons

Some days it is hard to leave the office.

Focus on development and growth for all employees

Pros

If you want to grow your career, there are so many opportunities with this company, in so many areas. Ideas or encouraged and welcomed, and each community has its own culture/feels like family. The home office offers great support to site leaders, and there is a newer focus on customer service to all - employees, families, and residents.

Cons

Sometimes it can take a while to get an idea going, but this weakness is recognized by top leadership and being worked on. With HR processes, it can be hard to hold employees accountable and take the action that seems appropriate because with a staffing shortage you give some leeway to keep people working on the floor.
