      Pros

      If you're entrepreneurial, this is a great place to get started. High-profile and fun clients, extremely smart leadership, opportunities for growth outside of your expert area, access to network-wide resources to make you better at your job.

      Cons

      If you aren't entrepreneurial, easy to slip through the cracks. Have heard that some managers focus more on their own career progress than on those they manage.

      Mid-Level Management Overworked and Underappreciated

      Pros

      Fun, collaborative culture. Lots of educational events and training opportunities.

      Cons

      Mid-level management has very little power. Junior employees tend to me more valued in terms of work and being heard by senior management. Edelman preaches creativity, mentorship, open communication with managers...but when it comes down to it, if someone doesn't like you, they will find a way to get rid of you. Several mid-level colleagues of mine were set up to be fired. I've dealt with sabotage before, but never like this on on such a large scale. You'll learn a lot while you're there, but if you don't fit the mold they're looking for, you'll probably be kicked out. Also, you will work crazy hours and be poorly compensated for it.
