Pros

Eden II genuinely cares about doing the best job they can for people with Autism. There are a lot of trainings, and meetings to assure the Participants are getting the best care possible. I respect that, and I'm happy to work for an agency who cares so much.

Cons

The Management at Eden II don't really care about the employees. We are bodies to fill a role. Everyone is expendable, and they are quick to point a finger the second something isn't prefect. The demands are sky high, the recognition is sparse.

Pros

Nothing at all, this place is a sham.

Cons

Abusive “teaching” methods, harmful ideas of how to handle autistic individuals, can’t branch out and try new ideas, ableism at it’s finest. This isn’t ABA, I myself have been working in the ABA field almost 10 years and what they teach staff to do here is torture and very harmful for the children. The staff are only doing what they are being trained to do but won’t ask questions about why they are doing it? They don’t like when you question and that’s the first red flag. Don’t do it. These kids deserve autonomy too. And don’t get me started on how they misuse the reinforcers and don’t know what certain ABA terms actually mean.
