The students attending are each unique and worthwhile and there’s a stable staff to child ratio; it makes space for the one to one attention that the students need.

Cons

The communication between different departments and schools within the organization is choppy and disorganized at times, which makes it difficult to obtain an honest answer to an honest and necessary question. Benefits could be much better

I started working at Eden II as a DSP in 1992 and worked my way through various positions (direct support and management) and departments (residential, adult, and family support). These are just some of the reasons I've stayed at Eden II for so many years: *The unbelievable progress (witnessed firsthand) that many of our service recipients have made over the years - thanks directly to the dedication and hard work of Eden II employees. * A diverse workforce that consists of people who truly care about doing their utmost and making a difference in the lives of Eden II service recipients. * HR policies and practices that are progressive, inclusive, and fair. * Leadership that values happy engaged employees and understands the importance of work-life balance. * Lots of opportunities for professional advancement if you're a responsible committed employee.

Cons

My commute! I live in New Jersey and have to drive through heavy traffic daily to get to my work site. A good audio book helps.
