Since all work is done remotely, there can be a sense of isolation at times compared to an in-person school environment. Building connection takes more effort in a virtual setting, but Edmentum collaborative culture and regular check-ins help maintain a sense of community.

Really great and smart coworkers, flexible schedule, decent pay and benefits.

Cons

Yearly reorganizations. Leadership places unrealistic expectations on everything. If you are in any prominent position in the org expect late night phone calls and working through the weekend. Executive leadership only wants yes men. Favoritism is the name of the game across teams. This company constantly pushes away the most talented and well liked individuals by treating them so poorly. Individuals are consistently blamed for structural issues and fired. Pockets of extreme toxicity.
