Pros

Work / life balance, salary and earning potential, management, products, support, competitive pricing on all products, innovation, benefits, bonus programs such as President's Club, and just truly care about their employees.

Cons

I would say the only con would be the size of some of the territories per rep.

Pros

-The people. I work with a great team, and across the business I've been generally impressed with the capability, professionalism, friendliness, and responsiveness of the people. -The benefits. Overall, Edmunds has strong benefits and generous time-off policies. I've worked places with better individual benefits (like a strong ESPP), but there's usually a trade-off (like vacation-day banking) as a whole package these have been the best I've gotten. -The environment. Edmunds has a results-oriented workplace, and I've found goals and expectations are clearly articulated. I don't worry about, say, winding up presenting work to stakeholders without being sure what their expectations are. Also, Edmunds has done a good job supporting remote work. -Interest in innovation and new ideas. People here are always really receptive to hearing new ideas, and some interesting new efforts have come out of that.

Cons

-Advancement prospects aren't always clear. With pretty high loyalty, in some departments it's tougher to get on a path towards bigger promotions. You can also sometimes get pigeonholed in executing something you're good at, which makes advancement a tougher conversation. -Long institutional memory. This is definitely a pro sometimes, but can be a con. Edmunds has a lot of long-term employees, and the company has tried a lot of new ideas over the years. That also means anything that resembles a past rejected or failed idea is going to be a tougher pitch, and require you to learn a lot about the old project to be very specific about how your idea is different or timely.
