Pros
Work/life balance was pretty solid, and the flexible schedule and ability to work from anywhere really helped. And over the years there were some exceptionally talented and smart people.
Cons
Private equity ownership ultimately killed the company. Decisions were made under the guise of cost savings without fully thinking about how they might gut revenue generation; boots on the ground were not consulted; no support was given to bolster or even maintain the underlying framework that built the company; and no consideration was given to warning flags about client enrollment reduction, starting as early as 2022. It's likely that upper management either ignored real issues, or they misled top management and ownership. Perhaps they simply had magical thinking.
