Pros

They keep in contact with e-mail but respond to questions quickly. Had no problems with payroll, paid bi-weekly.

Cons

Being they service many districts, you only meet the main office employees, owner, when they do a new employee workshop, for signing you up to be employed by them. So, the office is not close by. It is school year pay, so no unemployment during off times(by a state law)

A Good First Company For Substitute Teaching

Pros

The application process was fast and they really leave you alone to work at your own pace. Their app for finding substitute jobs was really helpful and made working easy and flexible.

Cons

There isn't really any way to make a career out of substitute teaching, even with EDUStaff. It's good for some money on the side, but there's no room for growth and no skills to be learned unless you intend to be a teacher.

Pros

I loved working at Edustaff. I moved to the other side of the state in June of 2021 and took a different position where I didn't have to commute. My co-workers were fantastic and my boss knew her stuff! I learned a lot in my 3 years with the company and it was a great entry-level position. I am still connected with some of my team members and several will be life long friends. I would highly recommend Edustaff. On several occasions, Edustaff's President would bring a cart around the office on Friday's with donuts for the corporate staff. I even saw him help an employee who had a flat tire in the parking lot, just a genuine guy!

Cons

My current company offers unlimited PTO. At the corporate level, Edustaff only provides 2 week vacation. But their health care options are great!
