Pros

Privately held, still run by the family that established the company. One of the best food service equipment dealers to work for in the industry, providing excellent training and support through strong relationships with the vendor community. Company culture is team oriented.

Cons

No expenses paid (phone, car, internet), commission system can be challenging, often face internal processes that can be frustrating (buying, warehouse, traffic, etc).

Pros

The company make money so their is no threat of them ever selling. Largest distributer of food service equipment and supplies in the United States. This provides us the ability to service clients anywhere in the USA.

Cons

Edward Don has ZERO care or concern for their employees. The 401 is half of what it was 15 years ago even though the company has doubled in size. The maximum contribution from management is $750! The pay scale is 20% below the market. They also threaten vendors not to hire their staff so it makes it almost impossible for us to leacve and find better industry positions.
