Pros

Entrepreneurial go-getters with spirit and hard-work have the ability to establish own office. You can develop business relationships with clients and others in your community. A lot of show leather goes into prospecting for clients and rewards pleasant persistence. Training program results in easily passing licensure exams. Firm has culture of teamwork and ethics.

Cons

Essentially on your own to do the activities needed for success. Need to be very disciplined and willing to put in long, hard hours to grind out that success. Lack of national recognition means long selling process for clients. Need to shift to fee-based model that enables pay-stream downline. Transactional based rewards demand constant, never-ending search for revenue.

Pros

I work with great people.

Cons

Top leadership and ELT is quickly destroying this company. Actively at war with the people who do the day to day work. Each trimester we are "gifted" new ways to micro managed or gaslit by another horrible policy change. ELT is purposely making life miserable here on purpose so we quit. Rumors of going public with IPO are becoming more apparent. Feels like we work a ponzi scheme that's about to collapse.

Pros

Community of BOA’s is great. Good resource for help. Pay is pretty good. If in a high performing office, bonuses can be real good. The is ample vacation, sick time, and holiday pat

Cons

Limited formal training. All training is online and not very clear if not coming from a financial background. If you happen to have a good FA, all good. Mine claimed he did not know, whenever I had questions. If it had not been for home office I would not have made it as long as I did. FA’s are not trained in people management. When in an office with just FA and BOA you can feel real isolated. If you have a good FA, you will be good. If you don’t it can be a miserable experience after a while. Always remember if there is ever a conflict, the FA is always right because they are the ones bringing in the money. BOA is dispensable.
