Pros

My leader is great and super understanding and flexible.

Cons

I used to love my job with Jones but over the last couple years my love for it has slowly been declining. They pay WAY LESS than most companies and the health insurance is horrible. I chose to go HBA in the Fall of 2022 because the firm let associates choose and not they’re taking that choice away from us. I’ve stayed with my low paying job because of the option and flexibility to work from home and now it’s been ripped away from me.

Pros

Was a pretty relaxed environment with friendly people, flexible working arrangements, and good wok life balance. This is all rapidly changing.

Cons

Heavily recruited folks with flexible working arrangements. Now the company has done a complete 180 and any employee within “commutable” distance of St Louis or Tempe offices is required to be in 3 days a week starting in 2024. I guess they hire like they manage people’s money….sell the dream, then get dumped on with fees (commuting fees for workers now)!

Headed in a bad direction.

Pros

They put a lot of effort into training and paying for it upfront.

Cons

Outdated model by still promoting door knocking; it isn't effective in today's world. They over promise on advancing in your career., the only people that make it are the ones that are given assets or retirement plans. They are also over hiring right now and is creating high turnover since they don't have enough resources to support new people.
