Overall i have mixed emotions but one day i see the good and one day i see the bad. how tough are you
Pros
you get licensed and get a foot in the door. their study program is one of the best but after that you find yourself out almost on your own to make it happen and select few get the privilege of getting a small portion of an existing advisors book of business or better yet get to take over an office. It's talked about a lot but in my time I haven't seen it personally be done
Cons
low pay, and when it comes to field training everyone has you doing something different and all seems a little disorganized but its true with this industry that only the strong survive so I can see a method to their madness. just troop it out and everyhting will work out. Hard hard work at the begininng 3-5 years from what i'm told but once ou reach that point you will find your quality of life will be much improved
