      Pros

      Great Training. Most companies don’t give a decent base salary and are more commission heavy starting out. Flexibility. Good support from many FAs. Local company feel with big company support.

      Cons

      Door knocking is inefficient but effective. You can get burnt out quick. People with a large network of friends and family ready to invest would benefit the most. The services are expensive and that’s why many prospect don’t join. The overall business is tough, not specific to company. Technology is old school. You are selling more expensive services / products relative to other companies.

      Have the potential to make decent money if you have a decent FA

      Cons

      If you have a kid for a FA, they don't know what they're doing and don't know how to "manage" an office. I am twice the age of my FA. I have been in the work force a lot longer than he has been alive. I have been with EJ over twice as long as the FA. EJ lets these kids determine your bonus and rate of pay. If your FA likes you, you probably will get good bonuses and raises. If he/she doesn't like you, you might as well find another job because they are in charge of your career at EJ. The FA's have too much control over the BOA's bonuses and pay, period!
