      Lightening in a bottle, while it lasted

      Pros

      Quota for the top performers that had the good accounts was easy to hit

      Cons

      There was a hierarchy and you needed to be patient until it was your turn. Not enough accounts to go around. Too many different teams wants to be involved in your deals and everyone thought they could run it better. This made getting pricing approved a nightmare. They need to let the rep and manager own the cycle - too many cooks in the kitchen.

      I had hope but it doesn’t look good.

      Pros

      The people, depending on the department, there are some amazing managers and directors to work for. Great health benefits Unlimited time off

      Cons

      No 401k and promises over 2 years of going public. No firm road for career advancement in sales- senior management has been asked about this every single meeting and they danced around the question each time. Managers and senior sales team ask for feedback and suggestions but then immediately get defensive and will make you immediately regret saying anything. Vineet the CEO responded all to the entire sales org on a congratulatory email saying that the sale should not have been celebrated and that they had a lot of work to do on the account. This was on a shout out email celebrating a victory. Regardless of the sale- the response was so uncomfortable and uncalled for. Any discrepancies should have been addressed on a managers level- not sent to the entire sales organization. Vineet never addressed this nor apologized. This should say enough about the type of toxic atmosphere sales people are walking into.

      Good Marketing for Toxic Enviroment

      - good range of benefits - technology stack

      Cons

      - huge pressure - poor management - toxic enviroment / rat race - moving business more and more to India - management looking only to build their reputaion and to look better in eyes of the company owners - lot of additional hours to work - you are the asset not the human being
