The very upper management don’t get it, they don’t think their people should come first, they put business first, then clients, then their employees. They’ve even discussed how to grow the business but pay their employees LESS than they already do. Which is already below market rate. Several team members have left the firm over the last several years from the tech side and doubled their pay. I know each one has said roughly the same thing on their exit interviews but management doesn’t listen and nothing has changed.

It was a pretty toxic workplace for me, the upper management knows that there is a major problem with the way the admin group is run and won't do anything if you bring up concerns. I had to handle adding multiple responsibilities outside my job title and then was gaslighted into thinking "I wasn't working hard enough" when 4 admin quit in a year and 2 were fired and someone had to adsorb their responsibilities meanwhile the there were other people on the team getting blatantly drunk on the job.
