Pros

The firm tries to make up for the technical deficiency by giving staff a lot of choices in their CPEs.

Cons

There is a constant pressure from management for more billable hours from the staff . It is not uncommon to hear from staff that they worked trough the wee hours of the morning only to do that all over again the next day. Staff charged as much billable hours to clients only to be written off around billing time. After a while, billable hours/billing turned into a game.

Pros

Able to learn and gain experience by working on different types of industries.

Cons

Major pressure to “eat” time due to small budget but then upper management questions why one is not billing hours to client. Culture is horrible in the NJ office. There is a lot of favoritism but not based on competency rather based on who is your “friend”. EA promotes people who have been known to act inappropriately towards female coworkers and have witnessed disparaging racial remarks about other employees.

Pros

Easy place to work if you're happy being content or complacent in your position and can fit in with upper management's cliques. Good people at the middle-managment level. Firm is just another average firm for their size so there isn't the pressure to perform that you find at other firms.

Cons

Leadership does not have a vision for the firm and lacks the managerial and organizational skills to run a firm. Firm has been talking about a growth strategy for years, but it hasn't happened. Merger of Eisner and Amper has not produced growth or new revenue, and there are many duplicate non-client service areas that have not been consolidated. Nepotism is rampant from top to bottom, and management favors young, attractive females (I guess this could be a "pro" depending on who you are).
