Happy hour every Friday at office Casual work atmosphere

Cons

Unstable company. Backed by venture capitalists, who are just interested in making a profit. They had to let go 2/3 of the staff in 2013

Ekahau used to have two business units. One business unit was divested in early 2016. As the reviewer stated, there unfortunately were lay-offs in that unit, albeit nowhere near as dramatic as indicated. After successful divestiture, Ekahau currently focuses exclusively on Wi-Fi design solutions and is financially very solid. Wi-Fi solutions BU has never had lay-offs.

Bleeding edge technology. Brilliant Research and Design team. Granular tracking down to a 9 foot radius with properly tuned 802.11 WLAN.

Pros

Great pay, nice working culture with lots of flexibility and you get to work with lots of A+ players. The technology helps people and it really works, customers are sophisticated. Management is highly competent, responsive, respectful and fair. The CEO sets a great example and works harder than anyone there, championing and promoting people.Everyone enjoys working there and few ever want to leave. Every Friday is happy hour and there is flex time.

Cons

Market is slow to grow though the company enjoyed double digit growth during my time. Not as much money is invested in R&D, so the technology can't live up to its potential. The Board changes the strategy often.
