Staffing lacks so employees are overworked. Management will take advantage of your skills and have you work outside of your job role/scope without compensation.

Great benefits. Nice hospital. People are great. The facilities are good. They welcome staff thinking out side the box, to come up with ideas.

Cons

A lot of construction going on. Parking is horrible. Too expensive to live anywhere near work. Most people commute a good distance. Staff feeling the effects of trying to do more with less people.

El Camino Health is a great hospital with dedicated employees and contractors. This hospital provides excellent quality patient care. I really enjoy working with my team and departments.

Cons

The culture and excitement for working here is changing for the worse. Previously, we had a sense of being trusted and able to voice creative ideas and opinions, which made all of us successful in the community, our careers and core values here.
